The Hypocritical Rumors About The Quran & Islam

I made a promise to myself a few weeks back, that I was going to write an article on the holy Quran and Islam. Yes, I’m a Muslim, don’t be confused.

The irritating rumors and thinking of people (non-Muslims), about the Quran and Islam, the religion of peace, led to the writing of this article. This article is nothing but a disclaimer on the hypocritical rumors surrounding the holy Quran & Islam made by non-Muslims. This article right here isn’t aimed at creating controversies or to take shots at other religions, no, you have got the right to believe whatever you want to believe. Your life, your belief.

Islam

Unlike every other Islamic or religious-based articles, this wouldn’t be a “preaching” or over serious one, I’m a youth trying to communicate to or with other youths, most especially on social media. Most of these rumors are made and posted on social media, mostly by youths, that’s exactly why I’m writing this with them as my main targets. Humans are mostly known to agree to something or statements, whether true or false, as long as it goes with their beliefs or favors them, well that’s hypocrisy.

Every human being is born into this world, in a circumstance that is not of his choosing or desire. The religion or belief of his/her family or the ideology of the state is thrust upon him from the very beginning of his/her existence in the world. So, for most of us we still practice the religion we were born into. There are 4300 religions in the world, with every single one of them claiming to be there right one. What differs every one of them from Islam is that Islam is the only religion that practices monotheism.

If I was to write about all the false rumors or lies I’ve heard and seen about Islam, I would have to write a book of 250 pages minimum, and this isn’t an exaggeration. Well, for the sake of simplicity and this being an article, I would be highlighting a few of the many rumors about the Quran & Islam;

  • Islam & The Quran Doesn’t Support Violence (Boko Haram Issue)

Violence is bad, everyone wants peace, probably not everyone though, but most people want peace, having peace of mind is the biggest flex ever. A whole lot of Nigerians, or rather Christians (I don’t think there are much Jews in Nigeria, even if they are any), at least 80% of them all think & say Boko Haram members & its leader are Muslims and are all following what Islam & the Quran says. Well, I’m here to tell you that you are wrong, very wrong in fact. Islam & the holy Quran preaches against violence and only preaches self-defense, don’t attack if you aren’t being attacked, only fight when you’re being fought, and have to save your lives.

Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan.
Qur’an 4:76

Shaitan means Satan, Boko Haram, and other terrorists fight in the way of shaitan.

Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not transgress limits. God does not love transgressors.

Qur’an 2:190

Another quote from the Quran against violence. Transgressors are those who kill for no reason, e.g, Boko Haram & other terrorists.

If anyone killed a person – unless it was for murder or for spreading mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed the whole people
Qur’an 5:32

I love this verse above, it clears all the rumors. If one kills an innocent person, he would be punished in hell for it. Do Boko Haram members kill innocent people? Very much! Now, do you think they follow the Quran and what it says?

From the verses above we can see that Islam & the Quran doesn’t support violence and if you think otherwise, kindly close this article and keep being ignorant. “Muslims are violent…”, bla bla bla, hypocrisy is judging a particular group or set of people just by the few bad eggs in it. If you think Islam supports violence because of Boko Haram and co, then you shouldn’t have a problem with police shooting blacks, because of the few bad ones among them. Now it is clear Boko Haram and other terrorists do not follow what the Quran says, and are not Muslims and shouldn’t be regarded as one. If you disagree, well you should consider adding hypocrite to your name, it would really look good as your middle name.

I just have one more thing to say on this issue, not a single place in the Quran is sword mentioned, can you say the same about your religion? Yet you claim Islam is about violence, btw peep this; Matthew 10:34 & Luke 19:27.

  • Zakah Is Totally Different From Tithe.

Growing up, I always loved the idea of helping the less privileged. Coming to this world to the religion of Islam made it even better, Islam supports giving to less privileged, isn’t it amazing? What a full spec religion!

I’ve seen a lot of posts and heard a lot of comparisons made by Christians saying, tithe offering and zakah are the same, I beg to differ. In Islam, everything we do is supported and from God, a mere mortal didn’t just wake up one morning, telling us what to do without the acceptance of Allah(God).

Zakah (Charity), is performed by Muslims whose net annual savings, are above a certain specified minimum must pay an annual amount of 2.5% of his savings to the poor & needy people in the community, not to the clerics or “Man of God” for self-consumption. Practicing zakah is one of the pillars of Islam. It was made compulsory by Allah (God), to those who meet the minimum standard set. Please take note, Muslims are to pay only 2.5% of his annual (yearly not monthly) savings and give to the needy. For example, if a person’s annual savings, not earnings, is 100,000 NGN, 2.5% of this is 2,500 NGN, as little as that, to be paid to the needy just once.

But tithe, on the other hand, makes me really vexed, to think they even compared it with zakah, kmt. A Tithe is 10% of a Christian’s monthly income, not given to charity or poor or the needy people, but giving to their pastors, or men of God, enriching their pockets. No wonder these people get richer and richer, I think they should add “Spending” or “Sinzu money” to their names. They’ve really exhorted the poor congregations, tithing is very wrong. No limit to pay tithe, either you’re poor or rich, you must pay it. I don’t think God should reward the pastors or men of God collecting tithes because they’re already being paid salary by their congregations, some even created a USSD for it, fantastic nonsense. Jesus had this to say;
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. Matthew 23:23

Now, you see zakah is a million times different from Tithing.

  • Muslims Believe In Jesus More Than Anyone.

Believe in all the prophets of Allah, including Jesus. Any so-called Muslim that doesn’t believe isn’t a Muslim.

Muslims

Christians think we do not believe in Prophet Isa, i.e Jesus (mercy & peace of God be upon him). Contrary to popular beliefs, Muslims believe in and love Jesus more than Christians do.

He (Jesus) was mentioned 25 times in the holy Quran.

He was begotten into this world miraculously by his mother, Mary (Mariam), without a father.

He was created just like the first man, Adam.

He lived his life like every other mortal, drank, ate, slept, rested, etc.

He was one of the best prophets of God. He had many stunning miracles.

… I cure the blind & the leper and I gave life to the dead, all by the permission of Allah.

Quran 3: 49

He didn’t call himself God and never instructed anyone to, not even in the Bible.

And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'” He will say, “Exalted, are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.
Quran 5: 116

He wasn’t killed, nor crucified, he’s very much alive.

And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah .” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following assumption. And they did not kill him. Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

Quran 4: 157-158

When Christians say belief, they expect us to worship Jesus as they do, but that’s not the Muslim way, that’s not the right way. Whilst on earth, Jesus never worshipped himself, but rather worshipped God in heaven. Jesus never called himself God, neither did he order his followers to, he always made mention of God in heaven. Peep this; Luke 11:2/Matthew 6:9-10 & Matthew 7:21 & John 5:30 & Mark 13:32. All these verses clearly state that Jesus called to his God in heaven not himself, so don’t tell me I wouldn’t go to heaven for not accepting Jesus as my Lord or criticizing Islam for not having Jesus as God, when clearly you’re the one not following your Bible, that’s hypocrisy.

Prophet Isa, Jesus (mercy & peace of God be upon him), was neither crucified nor killed, but was raised to the heavens and would return to earth before the end of the world to die, be buried and raised on judgment day like every other person. He couldn’t be crucified because; Galatians 3:13 or Deuteronomy 21:23.

All these are just to clear the agenda that Muslims do not believe in Jesus. No paradise for anyone who doesn’t believe or love Jesus, not as a god, but as a prophet of God.

  • The Holy Quran Is From Allah.

Nothing made of man is ever 100% perfect, probably that’s why some Christians say no holy book is perfect, including theirs. Only God can do things perfectly. The holy Quran is from Allah (God), that is what makes it 100% perfect and by far the only perfect holy book.
It’s so funny you can call something holy, but still claim it isn’t perfect.

The Holy Quran

The holy Quran was sent to Prophet Muhammad (mercy & peace of God be upon him), by Allah (God), through one of his angels, angel Jubril (Gabriel). The Quran was revealed in parts over a period of 23 years. The Quran wasn’t written by mere mortals coming together, claiming to have the anointing of God. For over 1400 years the Quran has been the same, unchanged, not tampered with, no contradictions, no different versions, no revised versions, 100% perfect now, as it was 1400 years ago. A book with zero mistakes and 100% perfection can only be from God. If you can find any mistake in the Quran, I’d quit being a Muslim.

Some people or most on social media oftentimes say, how did Muhammad receive the Quran from God and it’s not possible. Some even say “shey God threw the Quran down from heaven to Muhammad abi…”, I see them as a bunch of clowns who should be in the circus. My question is, do you believe God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses? If yes, you’re not just a hypocrite, you should also consider ordering a clown outfit on Amazon, it would fit you perfectly.

Islam is the most perfect religion there is, considering only Muslims practice monotheism. From the summary above, we can all conclude that Islam is against violence, zakah is totally different from tithe, Muslims believe & love Jesus and the Holy Quran is from God (Allah). If you think otherwise with no proof to show for it, I have a recommendation. And if by any chance you think I lied or made a false statement or didn’t quote the right verses, I would love to hear from you in the comments. Or send me a message.

I hope with these few points of mine, I’ve been able to convince & not contradict… LOL, it’s not a religious debate, just kidding. This article isn’t meant to create controversies, but rather to clear the false & hypocritical rumors people make on the Quran & Islamic social media, so no hard feelings. Once again I say, Islam is a religion of peace, and Muslims, be super proud of your religion.

EFCC Chairman Arrested by DSS: The Fraudsters Detainer Gets Detained For Fraud.

Earlier today, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, was arrested by the Department of State Services in Nigeria.

Ibrahim was arrested at the Wuse II office of the DSS on Monday afternoon and is now undergoing interrogation at the DSS Headquarters. We await more information from the DSS.

EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.

In December 2010, the Police service Commission found Magu guilty of action prejudicial to state security – withholding of EFCC files, sabotage, unauthorised removal of EFCC files and acts unbecoming of a police officer, and awarded him severe reprimand as punishment.
Magu is currently occupying a residence rented for N40m at N20m per annum. This accommodation was not paid [for] from the commission’s finances, but by one Umar Mohammed, air commodore retired, a questionable businessman who has subsequently been arrested by the secret service.
For the furnishing of the residence, Magu enlisted the Federal Capital Development Authority to award a contract to Africa Energy, a company owned by the same Mohammed, to furnish the residence at the cost of N43m.
Investigations show that the acting EFCC chairman regularly embarked on official and private trips through a private jet owned by Mohammed.
In one of such trips, Magu flew to Maiduguri alongside Mohammed with a bank MD who was being investigated by the EFCC over complicity in funds allegedly stolen by the immediate past petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke. Furthermore, the EFCC boss has so far maintained a high-profile lifestyle. This is exemplified by his preference for first-class air travels. On 24 June, 2016, he flew Emirate airlines first-class to Saudi Arabia to perform lesser hajj at the cost of N2.9m. This is in spite of Mr President’s directive to all public servants to fly economy class.
“Magu has fostered a beneficial relationship with Mohammed who by his confession approaches clients for possible exploitation, favours and associated returns,” the DSS report said. Source: Sahara Reporters

As usual, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their shock of how the person who is meant to be fighting against financial crimes is actually taking part in it. This is just another proof that Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in Africa and in the world.

Magu is yet to be confirmed as the substantive chairman of the EFCC despite occupying the position in acting capacity for years. There seem to be a lot more between the Chairman and Mohammed, more information to be passed on soon.

Effective Ways To Make Money Online

“I’m broke” “I need money”, these are very popular statements we all make, it’s like a worldwide anthem already. So let me tell you this, the internet has made a lot of people rich & richer, and it has certainly made few people poor, but they definitely made mistake or mistakes.

Make money online
Recently, it just dawned on individuals all over the world that money can be made online. Over the years, we’ve seen most of the richest men in the world make most of their fortunes through the internet, well it’s not too late for you and me. Even with these, a lot of people still don’t know how to go about it or are reluctant in doing so. There are several “legal” ways you can make money online, but I’d be listing the few and most effective of them all;

  • DIGITAL MARKETING

Yeah! Statistically, this is one of the most effective, if not the most effective way of making money online. Without a digital marketing campaign or campaigns, no online business can run properly, run properly? No, online business can make any profit at all. Not just online businesses, digital marketing is proven to be more effective in aiding businesses worldwide both online and offline than the traditional marketing. So what is digital marketing?

Digital Marketing is the displaying or showcasing of product(s) or service(s) to a particular audience or audiences, with the use of internet, to make profit. There lot of differences between digital marketing and traditional marketing, but the main difference is that the former is done online or virtually and the latter is done offline or physically.

Every top or small businesses around the world needs digital marketing campaigns to make profit, thereby the call for more and more digital marketers. If you love making use of the internet or you’re good at making sales, then you should consider digital marketing.

Digital marketing is divided into various fields, so you don’t need to know everything under it, you can just pick a specific field and specialize in it. The few branches of digital marketing are;
1) Affiliate Marketing
2) SEO/SEM
3) Social Media Marketing
4) Content Marketing, etc.

If you’d like to know more about digital marketing, then I think you should stick to this blog and subscribe, as I’d be sharing my knowledge about it. While you learn from this blog, you can also further the learning to online courses. I recommend; CertifiedStack, they teach the basics of digital marketing and it’s for free, you also get a free certificate. But if you know the basic of digital marketing, then you can check their professional course here.

  • VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

A virtual assistant is an independent contractor who provides administrative services to clients while operating outside of the client’s office, according to Investopedia. But, to be an excellent virtual assistant you need to have a basic knowledge of digital marketing and a little bit of graphic design.Virtual assistant
Virtual assistants often have at least two years experience as an office manager. With the rise of “Working at home”, if you have a bit of experience as an office assistant, then you should really consider becoming a virtual assistant. To know more about being a better virtual assistant, check here.

  • CRYPTO CURRENCY

A cryptocurrency (or crypto currency) is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange wherein individual coin ownership records are stored in a digital ledger or computerized databaseusing strong cryptography to secure transaction record entries, to control the creation of additional digital coin records, and to verify the transfer of coin ownership, according to Wikipedia.

There are over 1,300 cryptocurrencies in the world but the most popular of them are; Bitcoin, Etherum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) , Litecoin (LTC).

Cryptocurrency
Bitcoin is the most popular of them all, in 2011, one Bitcoin was only $1.0. So for $100 you would have gotten 100 Bitcoin. If you invested the $100 and kept the 100 Bitcoin, as at when this article was written, you would have $924,994, almost a million dollar. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies keeps growing day by day, so if you are good at taking and managing risks, then you should consider investing into cryptocurrencies. But, if you can’t take risks or can’t invest in long time assets, then try other ways for making money online. Taking risks and managing it, is what differentiates the rich from the less rich.

You can always enroll in courses online to know more about cryptocurrencies, I would also be inviting a guest blogger that is specialized in cryptocurrencies, so subscribe and stay tuned.

  • SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER

Influencer marketing is a field under digital marketing, but I’d like to separate it in this article. Social media Influencing is under influencer marketing as well, you can be an influencer without making use of social media. A social media influencer is an individual who makes use of social media platforms, to gain massive engagement in a particular niche or niches.

After having built your followers, companies or brands within your niche or niches would always come to you for business, because you have the audience they need. The higher your engagements, they higher the money you are likely to make.

Social media influencer
Having a massive amount of following on social media platforms doesn’t automatically make you a social media influencer. I can have 20,000 followers on Twitter, while another person would have 50,000 Twitter followers and I would still be considered a better influencer, it all falls back on engagement.

There are different types of social media influencers; Macro, Micro & Nano. Nano, obviously is the smallest category, these influencers have below 20,000 followers. Micro, have about 20,000 – 400,000 followers. Nano influencers, have around 500,000 followers and above. Being a social media influencer isn’t easy, just pick a niche or niches, a social media platform or platforms to work with and be consistent with relevant posts.

Also, like digital marketing, I’d be engaging us on how to go about being a better social media influencer, as well as inviting guests (top social media influencers) here.

  • E-COMMERCE STORE

You have a business idea or ideas or do you have product(s) you’d like to sell? But there isn’t enough capital to get a physical store. I’m here to tell you that you’ve been holding the answer to your problem for months, but you’re just yet to see it. An e-commerce store is a site or platform where you display your product(s) for potential buyers to see and make purchases, just like a physical store only that an e-commerce store is done online, on the internet and you only need few or no capital to setup an e-commerce store. Even with a physical store, displaying your products online can help you reach a more wider audience, anywhere around the world in fact. E-commerce stores are proven to make more money than a physical store.

E-commerce store
All you need to start an e-commerce store is very simple and cheap;
1) Make sure your products are ready.

2) Get a website (there are ways to get free ones)

3) Get a domain name (this is as cheap as $12 a year)

4) Pick a hosting company (there are companies that offer cheap hosting, like WhoGoHost, check them out)

5) Display your products on your website.
These are the few things you need to do to startup an e-commerce store on a website.

But, if you don’t have money to launch a website, make use of social media, by creating a social media account and driving followers to your page. A Nigerian social media influencer (@danny_walterr) recently announced, that he made Seven million Naira in one year and he doesn’t even have a website.

You can always learn more on how to run an e-commerce store, stay tuned to this blog.

These are proven, effective ways you can make money online right at the comfort of your home. Like making money offline, making money online needs the dedication of your full attention to produce the best results. Newton’s first law states that every object will remain at rest unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force, take action now and be on your way to acquiring riches.

Black Americans Vs Black Africans: Who Are The Real Blacks?

Black Lives Matter! Black Lives Matter!! Black Lives Matter!!! They keep on protesting, but themselves are bunch of hypocrites and racists, not towards the whites but to Africans.

Which makes me ask the question, Who are the real Blacks? The African-Americans or the pure African breeds.

For years, decades and centuries, white people have always felt and still feel superior to their black counterparts. Racism has always been a talk up for debate, with lot of blacks suffering in the hands of the whites, from police brutality, to racism chants, etc.

The recent killing of a black man in Minneapolis, USA, ignited the anti racism talks, with a lot of protests going down in the United States both online and offline. But, surprisingly Africans also joined in the protest for “Black Lives Matter”, with some saying Africans protesting for something going down in the USA was unnecessary, I still think it was and is the right thing to do, considering we’re all blacks and come from the same ancestors.

But the problem here is, African-Americans or as most of them prefer to be called “Black Americans” think they’re the real and only blacks, and feel superior over Africans.

This has been happening for years, we’ve seen Black Americans throw shades on social media at Africans often times than even the whites do. But, until yesterday Africans, specifically Nigerians decided enough is enough, and spoke up.

A female black American when replying to a Nigerian on Twitter said “I’m not about to argue with an African that WiFi gone be off soon”, and we all know how fast Nigerians flip the switch. Lot of Nigerians, what is the word, ‘dragged’ her. Check the tweet out below.

Black American insults Africans

The tweet made by the black American, caused a lot of uproar on Twitter. But the tweet is just one of thousands of bad comments made on Africans by black Americans. Let’s take a look at a few others.

Instagram comments, on famous black rapper, lil baby’s post. The rapper performed at a concert in Nigeria and posted about it. This is what some black Americans have to say about Africans and Nigerians.

Instagram comments on another post made by @worldstar. The page posted a picture of rapper, J. Cole, after he performed at another concert in Nigeria. As usual the black Americans had lot of things to say about Nigerians and Africans.

These are just a few amongst others. The Black Americans see Africa as a village filled with huts and makes use of old technologies, we’ve seen them make jokes about how surprise they are that we use IPhones. Black Americans are out there protesting on equality, whereas they’re claiming superiority over Africans. They only remember their ancestors are Africans when something good is coming out of it, like their musicians, they’d only rep the African culture when they have music to sell, they know how large the audience is down here.

This is just the first part, I still have a lot more to write about. Subscribe to my blog to get updates on when the second part drops. Also, like, comment and share. Thanks for reading.
